Asymmetrical Images

The composition of this image is asymmetrical in balance.

There is a sense of emphasis on the apple because of the bite mark in it.

The depth of field is deep because you can see the background.

I decided to take this picture because it was the first thing that caught my eye to take a picture of, and I knew right away that it was asymmetrical.

I decided to take this picture because I took a picture of the other bathroom placard which was symmetrical and this one was not because of the wheelchair silhouette added.

I decided to take this picture because I think the tree looked pretty and i knew right away that it was asymmetrical due to the objects in the background making it uneven.

Symmetrical Images

I decided to take this image because i thought it was pretty and I took it up close because I didn't want the rest of the floor in the background.

I decided to take this picture because I like how it is very colorful and it caught my eye.

There is a sense of contrast because of the colors used. The image of the female silhouette within the circle is a light color(white/cream), while the circle surrounding it is a dark color(red/burgundy).

I decided to take this picture because I knew it was symmetrical right away when I saw it.

Asymmetrical

This is my asymmetrical image. I love music so I decided to use a photo of music notes. I also put an image of Mickey Mouse because I love disneyland and he reminds me of it. I also put an image of Princess Jasmine because she's my favorite princess. I used the shape tool to make custom shapes all around the music notes, and i used clipping masks to put different patterns in them.

Symmetrical

This is my symmetrical image. I chose this flower because I thought it was really pretty. I used the copy tool and put a background using one of the styles in photoshop.

What makes "Humans of New York" such a powerful body of photos is that fact that all of those photos have a story behind them that you probably would never expect. They are all taken at an angle or a position to where you pay attention to the background and the type of environment the photo is in and what is around the main focus of the image is. These photos might be of something so simple, but have such a complex meaning to them.

These images and the stories that they have, have a big impact on how people view others. For someone who sees people like this everyday on the street or on TV or wherever they see them, they are most likely going to try to understand why they are in the position that they are in. People are going to think wide before they make a judgement on somebody and try to really put themselves in their shoes or think about how they got to be in a certain situation first. 

In my opinion, i already knew there was going to be a story behind this image. What i didn't know was the type of story it was going to be. When i saw this image i though it was just going to be about a homeless guy who lost his foot, but the background of this mans life is what changed my view on him. I think the images are very sad once you know the story behind this mans life. I like this piece of work a lot. 

Tool Practice

(V1 & V2 are together)

 I used the warp tool on this photo, and to do so there were only a few steps. First, i clicked on edit in the top left of the top bar. Then, i went down to "transform" and clicked on "warp" and started to play around with the fur. I also used clipping masks so that i could use the texture of the cheetah fur on the dolphin body. Finally, i used the color adjustments by going to "hue/saturations" and making the monkey face more of a blackish-gray color. 

Animal Hybrid

The name of my animal hybrid is a Dolphin Cheetah Monkey.

This animal lives in the ocean. It needs to be on land every few hours to be able to breath correctly.

This animal preys upon bottle nose dolphins but also enjoys plants. 

This animals offspring either comes out looking like a dolphin with a monkey face or a dolphin with a cheetah face. 

This animal is very interactive with humans. It is very nice and playful. Around other dolphins it does not get along with them and is deadly. But, around any other ocean animals, it is a very calm and friendly mammal.

The Dolphin Cheetah Monkey enjoys having its fur brushed by humans. Also, it occasionally likes to play with monkeys depending on its mood.
